A trip to Ekahi 42 at Wailea is pretty close to heaven. We got up every morning and snorkeled in the ocean before breakfast. Almost every day we saw sea turtles as well as an array of tropical fish in the rock cove right off the beach at Ekahi. If swimming with a sea turtle amidst the colored coral does not start your day out perfectly, I don't know what would.

The owner has thought of everything at this unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with every conceivable utensil for the dedicated chef. The double bed in the master bedroom is deliciously comfortable and firm, as is the couch in the living room. Fresh beach towels, snorkels and fins, a collection of movies and music, books and magazines -- you can just move in for a week and luxuriate. This is one of the nicest units in the Ekahi complex -- beautifully private, a lovely view, in a quiet spot near the upper pool, and a lovely two minute stroll across the spacious lawns and gorgeous gardens down to the beach."

Wow, what a great place. The weather was perfect, the golf was memorable, and the condo was fabulous. . . . Thank you again. I was able to visit a few of the units while we were there, and yours is second to none. I look forward to heading back soon. 

Well, we have made it back to the real world after having a wonderful time on Maui! I just revisited your condo web site and must tell you that while the pictures you have on there are great, now that I've been there is doesn't do it justice!

What a wonderful place you have and what a wonderful location. The view from the lanai of all the tropical flowers was amazing and then with the ocean in the distance...what more could you ask for! The grounds in that complex are so very well maintained!. . . Any meal that we had at the condo was eaten outside on the lanai (the weather was perfect)....had quite a few suppers by candlelight watching the sun set. Took advantage of the fresh fish and the BBQ! . . .

When you had indicated that the condo was well stocked you were right, we were pleasantly surprised with all that was available....even down to the coffee grinder and the spices. . . .Thanks again for allowing us to use your place, I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We all had a fabulous time; and the children will always remember their very first trip to the islands. ...we loved returning at the end of every fun-filled day to the comfort of our ‘home away from home.’ Our daughter, age 9, is an avid reader, and completed several of her novels sitting in what she called her favorite place in Unit 42E - the hammock chair on the lanai! Our son, age 6, loved everything from shuffleboard down at the big pool, the big pool itself, and even the ‘luxury’ (or ‘how lucky are we Mommy?’) to have the ‘quiet’ private pool so nearby for those early morning and late night swims! My son was absolutely in awe and love also with the murphy bed! (‘A bed that flips out of the wall mommy?!! A secret bed!’) He wanted to sleep on it every night - and it was super comfortable to boot!

Marilee, thank you for providing such a wonderful place. As expected, we did not want to leave Maui; and are already looking forward to a return trip in the future!

“We had such an enjoyable time at your condo!!! It really did work out for 4 very well , and the pictures really didn't give the feel of how wonderful it was – and the view from the lanai was the best ocean view of the three units that we have stayed in at Ekahi !!! It was our [college-age] daughters first time in Hawaii and they loved Maui and your condo!! They stayed for 5 days so Derek and I had 2 days after that so it was the best of all worlds!”

“We have returned and it was a WONDERFUL trip. We loved it and 10 days was not near enough time. Your condo was great, it suited our needs perfectly, the grounds of the complex were stunning. We left the beach gear stacked inside by the door...

There really wasn't enough time to see and do everything that had been recommended to us (it was hard to leave the beach). We did make it to Makawao but unfortunately just as the stores and galleries were closing. After eating at Mama's Fish House and strolling around Paia, we headed to Makawao and stopped at the old church on the way where classical musicians were rehearsing for a concert that night ... even though we didn't have tickets they set up some chairs for us in the back of the pews...it was great.
The weather was perfect, no rain at all...

The fish in Hawaii is truly magnificent, the tropical drinks were fabulous. We had one at each of the big Wailea hotels. I miss it already. I really hated to come home.”
